Providence Park

Completed in December, 2021, this new affordable housing option for seniors is located in Opelika, Alabama, close to the Tiger Town shopping area, the regional hospital, the medical arts campus, and I-85. It includes 56 two-bedroom, two-bathroom energy efficient apartments; a clubhouse, fitness and computer centers; and many outdoor amenities. It borders beautiful Pepperell Creek, life-size photographs of which are featured in the property’s elevators.

This project was developed by The Bennett Group. The project was funded utilizing the housing tax credit and HOME funds provided by the Alabama Housing Finance Authority; equity provided by Regions Bank and JP Morgan; construction financing provided by Auburn Bank; and additional permanent debt provided by United Bank and HOPE Federal Credit Union.
