Shepherd’s Village

After a renovation of the former Deerfield Woods property in June, 2025, Shepherd’s Village is a complete rebranding of this 42-unit family-oriented property in Dalevi, Alabama.

Tucked in a residential neighborhood just a few block from downtown, Shepherd’s Village provides 24 two-bedroom, and 18 3-bedroom energy efficient apartments.  The property also includes a clubhouse, computer and fitness centers, a playground and picnic pavilion.

This project was developed by Rowlett & Company, LLC, and Boldog Development Group, LLC, in partnership with the Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA), which provided the housing tax credits. The project was designed by the Architectural Offices of Joel Peek and built by

Bom Morrow Construction Company, Inc..  Construction financing was provide by ServiceFirst Bank, and permanent financing was provided by United Bank and AHFA.
