"Location, location, location," is the catchphrase used by professionals to describe the most important aspect of any property, whether commercial or residential. The site for Crestview Cottages was chosen for its central location in Prattville, just next to a neighborhood shopping center and across the street from Baptist Health Center (check to confirm the name of this facility). Though the site development proved challenging due to its topography, the result is a cozy community for seniors aged 55 and older "right in the middle of things." It has proven especially popular among the "younger-and-still-working" seniors in the community.

The property consists of 14 "cottage quadraplexes," a well-appointed clubhouse with fitness center and a common outdoor gazebo/picnic lawn. There are both one- and two-bedroom apartments, each of which features hardwood laminate flooring, 9' ceilings and solid wood cabinets with granite countertops.

As one resident commented, "I love my apartment, I love our property manager, and I love the short drive I have to work."

Crestview Cottages was developed in partnership with the Alabama Council on Human Relations, Inc., and Troy Bank & Trust. This is the seventh joint venture between ACHR and TBG.
